Lonnie is a stay at home mom to 2 children, Liam who is 5 and Kallissa who is 3. Kallissa was born 2 months pre mature at only 4lbs, this happened after her Husband Kevin just moved from their home in MI to start his new job in NC and to get everything ready for Lonnie and Liam to make the move as well. Kallisa did exceptionally well and it wasn't long before they were all together in NC. Kevin's job required him to be gone for long hours and well into the night or overnight at times and being new to the area Lonnie had no friends or family here to help, I met her about 5 months later and we instantly became friends. This is when I realized what an amazing Mother she is, Lonnie began joining Moms groups in order to make friends not only for herself but also to make sure Liam and later Kallie, had friends to interact with. She chose to sacrifice having any time to herself, never used babysitters and on top of this both kids were horrible sleepers so there wasn't much rest to be had! Yet Lonnie always had the kids busy with play dates, arts and crafts at home, trips to the zoo..nothing stopped her from being the amazing mom she is. She's always put together and looks beautiful, her kids are smart and well behaved, her home is kept in exceptional order for having as much responsibility as she ...

Tony Scime is my husband and I think he is a Super Dad!

Tony and I are older first-time parents. Our daughter Sophia just turned 1-year old in July. She is a miracle! We had fertility issues and were not successful conceiving for many years. Partially, because we are both older, partially because I am a juvenile diabetic.

Tony is reservist in USArmy. He was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. I met him in Italy for 2 weeks for his R&R and Sophia happened! He returned home in 2012, a few months before she was born!

As Tony returned home, he had to get used to the civilian life all over again, return to his full-time job as a shift supervisor for AlliedBarton Security, working for WellsFargo Customer Call Center, be ready for changes at work due to Democratic National Convention that was about to take place in Charlotte that year, and get ready for the baby to come! We already had three furry babies, our three dogs, Chad, Smitty, and Angel. They wanted his time and attention too.

When Sophia came into this world, there were some medical issues with her that required us going back to the hospital for several days. Tony was our rock! Himself, not knowing what to do and how, he kept it all together, always had a positive attitude, and still was able to take care of our furry babies.

He still had to work his 60-hr ...

Shantoria is the mother of 5 children and she is one of the most popular and hardworking coaches at Connections in Concord. Not only does Tori as she called work over 40 hours a week at Connections but she then comes home and prepares dinner for the 3 boys but she feeds her 1 year old some and infant daughter. She helps her 7 year old with his home work and reads to then all daily. Tori makes it all look so easy but as her mother I know how hard she works as well as how much she enjoys what she does. She even takes time to help with her niece Trinity. She is a Super Parent who deserves a super prize.
